remodeling projects. Their beauty and functionality can improve the look of many different styles of homes, including the contemporary, ranch, Victorian, and colonial. Typically, bay windows consist of three or more joined windows that jut outward from a room, forming a polygon or rectangle. Bow windows are usually composed of four or more connected windows that form a semicircle. In contemporary houses, bow windows might be more stylistically appropriate, while bay windows may be better suited for traditionally designed homes.
