My family has taken shelter from the TV storm by limiting our exposure to movies shown on a pathetic little 15-inch LCD on our coffee table. But recently I watch Barry Bonds hit his record home run on a "modest" 42-inch high definition plasma TV. It was glorious. Then I turned and watched the opening of Star Wars Episode III, where Kenobi and Skywalker fly to General Grievous' ship to rescue the Chancellor, and I saw colors as never before.
Technology Evolves
Satellite TV services are offering new options that make being a subscriber seem like it would be impossible to live without it. At the very least, my 15-inch LCD screen seems intolerably weak. Satellite TV not only offers many choices in viewing material, but you can get brilliant high definition products and you can access the Internet at blazingly fast speeds too. Check out your new satellite TV options and bundles, and like me, you may just get swept away on the magic carpet of a new entertainment system.
Old school TV tubes are bulky and heavy, and often they don't last as long as liquid crystal or plasma screen. You can often find that older TVS lose their beautiful screen quality. So while you're out shopping for a satellite service, c'mon, you deserve a new TV too!
