Home Improvement Photos
When working on a landscaping project, you will want to develop a plan just as with any other home improvement project. Many homeowners will work to develop beds of plants and flowers in their front and back yards using a variety of color and greenery to create their desired look.
When working to build a flower bed, it is important to utilize a variety of different types of plants and different heights to create visual interest. When building a new flower bed, begin with searching for plants and flowers that are considered ground cover, short, medium and tall heights. In most instances, you will begin your flower bed design using the tallest of the chosen items, working your way forward from tallest to shortest until you reach the front of the bed. Ground cover shrubbery or flowers will be used as fillers to address any gaps once you are complete. In no time, you will have a full flowerbed with visual interest in either your front or back yard.
