Your garden, particularly your front garden, greatly adds to the curb appeal for your property. When it is full of plants and flowers, people are drawn to your property. Not to mention, a well designed lawn and garden allows homeowners to enjoy the scenery. But, how can you ensure that you have a well designed garden?
The first thing to consider when designing your garden is your soil condition. Next, what type of sunlight would each flowerbed or area of your garden get on an average day? What is the climate of your area annually? The answers to these three questions will direct your optimal plant and flower choices.
When you head to your local garden store, bring this information with you to compare to the descriptions of plants and flowers offered. If you cannot find what you are looking for, ask one of the specialists for direction. When you choose the right plants and flowers for your garden, not only will its appearance be stronger, but you will be making smarter choices for your landscaping budget.
