A Country-style Kitchen is a Dream Kitchen

A Country-style Kitchen is a Dream Kitchen

Ever fantasize about the perfect kitchen? Perhaps it looks like this one, which takes full advantage of an exeptionally large space to create a space with all of the bells and whistles. You may never run out of room in this country kitchen with its seeming miles of granite counters and abundent cherry perimeter cabinets. The island features matching granite, contrasting cabinets, and a wrought iron pot hanger with built-in candelabra lights overhead. The commercial-grade gas cooktop and double oven are a long way from the kitchen sink, but this is hardly an inconvenience, as there is a prep sink nearby in the island as well as a pot filler mounted into the wall. The paneled side-by-side refrigerator matches the cherry finish of the perimeter cabinets, and the dark wood threatens to dominate, which could leave the room overly dark. This is avoided by using glass front cabinets on that wall, which effectively brightens up that side of the room. Along the other wall, the copper hood and cream-colored tile backsplash similarly provide a bright contrast to the dark cabinet finish. Completing the country look is the bead board ceiling with exposed structural beams.
