Fiber Cement Siding
When changing the exterior of your home, one popular option is fiber cement siding. In addition to traditional brick, many homeowners like the look and feel of wood. An option which achieves the same look and feel of wood but offers enhanced durability is fiber cement siding. In addition to reduced maintenance, this form of siding often comes with an extended warranty, up to 50 years in many cases depending upon the manufacturer. Fiber cement siding is comprised of sand, cellulose fiber and cement. This form of siding is available in a variety of colors and textures, allowing the homeowner to select the look and feel desired. The siding selected should complement the home's design plan, current neighborhood style, color scheme of other accents found on the home's exterior and of course, the personal style of the homeowner.
In most cases, this form of siding should be professionally installed. For a durable material which resembles wood, consider fiber cement siding.
